Established in 2004, the Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships (IFERS) is an award-winning California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity organization dedicated to improving society by providing resources to high achieving students, scientific researchers, community nonprofit projects, and educational organizations. We believe in changing the world for the better through education, research, and scholarships. Our ultimate goal is to create a better world with lasting peace, prosperity, and universal rights for all.

Education

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world," saidNelson Mandela. The Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships (IFERS) believes that education is the key to improving society and advancing humanity.


Partnering with the world's largest academic publisher, our academic books are in more than 4,000 library holdings worldwide including Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). We also publish under our own .


Internship and studying aboard are perfect citizen diplomacy. Since 2006, we have assisted hundreds of  from more than 70 countries around the world to intern and study in the United States.


IFERS is a proud sponsor of the 2nd Global Summit and Expo on Multimedia & Applications in London, the 3rd International Conference and Expo on Computer Graphics & Animation in Las Vegas, and many other educational conferences worldwide.


On August 18, 2016 we released the new music album "Google It (Soundtrack)" that features all the songs mentioned in the book "Google It: Total Information Awareness." The  is a collaboration of 4 countries: Australia, Azerbaijan, Cuba, and USA.


Since 2003 ACM Computers in Entertainment fosters critical discussions and innovative thoughts among entertainment computing scholars and professionals as well as creative executives, writers, producers, directors, artists, designers, and celebrities such as J.J. Abrams, Roy E. Disney, Quincy Jones, and George Lucas.



Self-help books include "Secrets of Motivation and Personal Growth," "Freedom in Words," and "Communicating for Success."



IFERS is pleased to offer you an elite cyber security training program. At the end of your training, you will receive an esteemed cyber security certificate as a member of the elite cyber security team DESCARTES.


In partnership with the Panel Foundation - Cleveland County, NC to promote higher education by providing a panel of educated individuals. A moderator asks real life questions in regard to obstacles in middle school and high school as well as in adult life.


The book club provide books for children of disabled veterans and veterans themselves by shipping them bulk of books on a regular basis.


 
The Menstrual Health Hub promotes the exchange of information about menstrual health, menstrual hygiene management (MHM) and menstrual equity. It offer social initiatives, educational resources, product information, research, Q&A forum, & advocacy campaigns.



IFERS donates to primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, and universities in the United States and worldwide in support of education.


We believe that peace can be achieved through education with our books, music, magazines, conferences, and internship.



We are pleased to publish guest columns from contributors around the world on various topics on education, research, and scholarships.

Research

The Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships (IFERS) is actively involved in scientific, social, educational, and medical research to benefit humanity at large.


We are actively involved in medical and health research including but not limited to Type 1 diabetes, cancer, immune system rejuvenation, autism, bipolar disorder, aging-related and autoimmune diseases.


In partnership with EASE T1D (Education, Awareness, Support, Empowerment - Type 1 Diabetes) to educate parents and doctors as well as to find cures.



In partnership with Foldscope Instruments to offer low-cost, origami-based print-and-fold optical microscope that is ideal for applications in global health, field based citizen science, and K12-science education.


In partnership with AGI Laboratory on research projects around block chain and artificial intelligence from commercial product development to academic research.



The International Digital Media Lab (IDML) serves as an incubator, accelerator, and think tank of new projects from conceptualization to product commercialization.

Our Team DESCARTES was one of the 104 teams registered with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) for the first-ever Cyber Grand Challenge (CGC).





Scholarships

The Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships (IFERS) offers scholarship programs to high-achieving students in the United States and around the world.


In partnership with educational organizations, we have offered scholarships to international students, and produced scholarship award reception at the American Film Institute and charity fashion show at Universal City Hollywood.



We can help you find the right college, apply for scholarships and financial aid, and minimize your family's out-of-pocket costs for you to attend college. We can also assess your aptitudes and interests to help you decide on your college major and career path as early as possible.


Cosponsored by IFERS and scholarship award by the Science and Engineering Research Support soCiety (SERSC), the best presentation/poster receives $1,000 in scholarship.


To spread interest in math and science, SIMS Macon sponsors students and schools to participate in their first STEM camps and competitions.



We are pleased to sponsor Destiny Thomas, a female student who is studying at the American Film Institute. Author 
Shamala Pulugurtha said, “Education is the only tool that can break this intergenerational cycle of oppression, abuse, and poverty of women."

We are pleased to sponsor Godwin Agyemang, a male nurse from Ghana, West Africa, who is studying at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University to become a doctor of internal medicine and a cardiothoracic surgeon.

The Sun Cinematography Award will be given annually to a female student enrolled in the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts for excellence in cinematography.



We are pleased to offer scholarships to Wesleyan College's Spectacles Math and Science Camp for rising middle-school girls.


We are pleased to offer scholarships to Mercer University's Youth Programs to offer interactive courses for middle grades students interested in learning new information at a higher grade level in the areas of creative writing, mathematics, and science.


In partnership with the College of Law & Business in Israel to provide scholarship opportunities for students in need.


In partnership with the Panel Foundation - Cleveland County, NC to provide college application fee waivers and assistance with ACT/SAT fees, initial dorm room deposits, and gas cards for on-campus college visits.
